As most of you all know, I am currently having my internship in Germany. So might as well I start this new blog describing a little about the country I am residing in now. Germany is officially known as Federal Republic of Germany. The largest and capital city is Berlin. So today I am going to start writing on Berlin! A recollection from ‘Sejarah’, a subject learnt in school (which most of us hate!) Berlin is divided into 2, namely East Berlin and West Berlin. This wall became the symbol of the Cold War. Enough of the histories…hehe..You can see the picture of the Berlin Wall below. Now it is already full of graffiti….I don’t know who did all those..=p
A small part of the Berlin wall…
We also went walking around the big city of Berlin and we came across this..
A tribute to the fallen soldiers..It’s a picture of a mother holding her dead child…How sad…A death in the family is always very hard to overcome…I know that very well because I lost someone I truly love and care recently..:(

The famous Charlie’s checkpoint…
For those who are not sure what is the purpose of Charlie’s Checkpoint. On the Western side of Berlin, allied troops register members of the American, British and French troops before they visit East Berlin at the checkpoint. It is also where foreign tourists could inform themselves about staying in East Berlin.
Concentration camp where they held prisoners of the war. A cruel and dark place.
Wars apart, let’s move on to some arts..below is the picture of the Universal Music building.
And some style! A large Sony store!
Next to this store is…
Filmhaus(in deutsche) = film house(in English)..This is where the International Film Festival is held.
Now let’s look at the Berlin gate.
Enough of Berlin I suppose..friends who want to see more pictures, you are welcome to find us when we get back..which is soon! Wait for us!!..13th July…13th July…hahaha..
